The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has achieved 100% placement for its 3oth batch of 446 students just in 3 days and made a record.

Sales and marketing (25%), finance (22%), consulting (21%) and business development were the top 4 segments based on roles offered. The rest of the offers were come from the domains like general management (7%), systems/IT (10%), analytics, market research and HR. Around 160 domestic and international recruiters has shown their participation in recruitment.
Placement highlights
This season of placement highlight shows great participation of well known firms such as Alvarez and Marsal, Blackrock, MasterCard, Advisors and o3 Capital which marked the ascent of IIM-L as a preferred recruitment destination for marketing, finance and consulting roles in the country.
Companies participated
More than 60% of the recruiters were from sales and marketing, finance and e-commerce industry. Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Avendus, BCG, Deutsche Bank, Flipkart, Hindustan Unilever, Mh Alshaya, Mckinsey, P&G and TAS were the top recruiters across different sectors participated this year. Many international profiles were offered by the companies including MH Alshaya, Equirus Capital and Olam international.
The first time recruiters include Avalon Consulting, BMW Group, Kotak Investments and Tata Sky.
Speech on placement day
On the successful day of placements at the institute Professor (Dr) DS Sengar said, “We try to maintain long term relationships with different recruiters. Because of that this recruiters engage in the campus events and also conduct case studies, live projects, and various competitions round the year.
Top firms offer
A total number of 110 offers were given by some of the top firms such as Airtel, Colgate Palmolive, Dr Reddy’s, GSK, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Nivea, P&G, Puma , Samsung and star TV in FMCG, consumer goods, telecom, digital media sector.
In addition to sales and marketing roles, these firms also offered good roles in other sectors like IT, supply chain management, corporate finance, HR and analytics with few of them plays additional roles for IIM Lucknow.

In this consulting domain many companies shows good participation and offer but the top most two recruiters were being Accenture and BCG.
