WWE 2K16 is finally heading to PC! After months of speculation, 2K Games yesterday declared that WWE 2K16 PC would be released for the PC platform on 11th March 2016. The game was released for the consoles like PS 3, PS 4 and X-box on 27th October 2016.
The game would include all the DLC (downloadable content) for which you don’t need to pay anything extra. The game is available at a price of $49.99 and if you pre-order the game on steam you would be getting a 10% discount.
WWE 2K16 PC – Facts & Developments
*The PC version was not released alongside consoles because a different developer is required for the PC version. When 2K announced the game it was initially believed that the game would be released at the same date as because the official website did display that the PC version was available for pre-order.
*When 2K announced that the game would be released for the consoles, it did not mention anything about WWE 2K16 PC
*Similar thing had happened with the last version of the game, WWE 2K15 PC. The pc version did not release alongside consoles and similar rumours had started to develop, eventually the PC version had released in April.
*The rumours started to begin in November, when a sale listing was posted on Amazon Germany stating that WWE 2K16 PC would soon be available for pre-order.
*2K games remained silent and never did approve the rumours, later few German websites posted sale listings for the game giving rise to further rumours.
*The game was rumoured to release on several dates and months like, 31st December, 31st January and 31st March 2016.
*The rumours became even more strong when last week a website which sells digital codes of games, CDkeys.com posted a sale listing stating a release date of 31st March 2016.
*Finally, 2K and WWE approved the rumours and said that the game would be released on 11th March 2016 via steam.
Well it’s a great thing for PC gamers since they would be able to enjoy the game on their pc itself and they do not need to buy the expensive consoles. So, all of you can finally quote the great Stone Cold Steve Austin, “Give me a hell, Yeah!”.
