1. Chen Long: The 27-years old Chinese player is one of the most favorite players from the All England Championships. 3. Kento Momota: This 21-years old Japanese badminton player is one of the toughest contenders of male’s singles championships. He has shown the characteristics of a champion at a very young age. He already has two Superseries titles in Malaysia and Singapore in his kitty. He was also a part of the team that won the silver medal at the Sudirman Cup. It seems that he has a very promising career in the 2016.
4. Saina Nehwal: Our very own Indian badminton star Saina is also one of the strong contenders from Women’s singles lot. The All England Open Badminton Championships 2016 will be the 1st tournament of the year for this 25-year old Badminton ace. She holds 2nd ranking in BWF singles and All England Championship. This year Saina would be facing Canada’s Michele Li in the first round of the All England Championships.

10. Li Xuerui: The 25-years old Chinese player is yet another tough contender in the All England Open Badminton Championships’ female singles category. She holds 3rd ranking in BWF Singles and she is 3rd seeded in All England Championship. This year, Li Xuerui hopes to win her 2nd All England World Championship singles title, after she had won the same in 2012. This year, her toughest challenge would be Chinese Taipei international Hsu Ya-ching in the first round of the tournament.
