He won his first international title in November 2006, beating former world no. 1, M. Roslin Hashim in the final of the Norwegian International Championships. In November last year, he won the Scottish Grand Prix in Glasgow, Scotland against English Rajiv Ouseph.

 

All England Open Badminton Championships10. Li Xuerui: The 25-years old Chinese player is yet another tough contender in the All England Open Badminton Championships’ female singles category. She holds 3rd ranking in BWF Singles and she is 3rd seeded in All England Championship. This year, Li Xuerui hopes to win her 2nd All England World Championship singles title, after she had won the same in 2012. This year, her toughest challenge would be Chinese Taipei international Hsu Ya-ching in the first round of the tournament.
