- We in India too witnessed how social media platforms helped in the tremendous galvanizing of youngsters fighting against the government authorities for failing them repeatedly while aspiring for a welcoming future. The trigger was the repeated failure to curb NEET-UG and CUEG exam paper leaks. The National Testing Agency, tasked with conducting the examinations for some of the most prestigious professional courses, has consistently betrayed the aspirations of millions of students and their families alike with paper leaks. Amazingly, what started as an innocuous social media message transformed into a student-led movement attracting a humongous number of youngsters to join the forces demanding action from the Union Government/authorities.

In doing so, the power of the social media platforms was ascertained, paving the way for government authorities not to brush aside the medium/young warriors nonchalantly. Make no mistake, it’s only going to become even stronger in the coming days. We must listen to the youngsters.
