  • Undoubtedly, T20 Cricket is stylishly packaged with accompanying glitz & glamour, all encompassing commercialization, smart marketing strategies, emphasis on entertainment rather than substance,  superior television viewing experience, etc,.  No wonder, Generation X, Y or Z simply lap up unrestrained entertainment of offer wholesomely.

  • Teeming crowds at any of the venues amply demonstrates the growing influence of shorter version notwithstanding disgraceful incidents of betting, spot fixing, match fixing and corruption surfacing alarmingly.  On a flip side, huge influx of money involved in the game has not only made millionaires out of novices but also paved way for the emergence of unscrupulous elements in great abundance.

  • As a result, sanctity of the gentleman’s game has taken a severe beating of late forcing no less than the Apex Court of the land to step in to stem the rot.  Make no mistake, nobody begrudges huge amount of money coming into the game but the moot point to ponder over is whether lure of the lucre is the right way to encourage a budding talent to establish.

  • In this backdrop, U-19 players having no real exposure to international level competitions hitting pay-dirt in the recently concluded IPL auction raises serious questions for sure.  A rookie Cricketer, untested at the highest levels, earning in crores over big names in international cricket amply exemplifies the direction T20 is headed into.

  • cartoonApart from quick burn-out of talented cricketers after a season or two of razzmatazz, is there any assurance for the players to emerge unscathed psychologically when the makeshift world of glamour gets busted.  No one knows for sure.  Not so long ago, all budding cricketers’ dream was to don the Indian colours.  Not any more one might add here ever since the advent of T20 has dramatically altered the cricketing landscape in our country.

  • As  such, the BCCI or for that matter any other National Cricket Boards should trade cautiously whilst handling precocious talents.  One possible way is to disallow U-19 Cricketers from contesting in tournaments like IPL or setting age limits to not less than 21 years, perhaps.  Idea is to discourage instant money taking precedence over long term stabilization for any cricketers’ own good.   What say the BCCI mandarins?

  1. I am the co-founder of JustCBD Store brand (justcbdstore.com) and am looking to broaden my wholesale side of business. It would be great if anybody at targetdomain give me some advice 🙂 I considered that the most ideal way to accomplish this would be to talk to vape companies and cbd retail stores. I was really hoping if anybody could recommend a reliable web site where I can purchase Global Vape Shop Database I am currently taking a look at creativebeartech.com, theeliquidboutique.co.uk and wowitloveithaveit.com. Unsure which one would be the best option and would appreciate any guidance on this. Or would it be easier for me to scrape my own leads? Suggestions?
