Pathankot Attacks

The recent Pathankot Attack is one in the many unfortunate events which have happened after India tried to improve relations with Pakistan. It is not for the first time that something like this has happened, in this article we will learn about similar terrorist attacks which took place after Indian authorities lend hands towards Pakistan in an attempt to improve relation.

When did events similar to Pathankot Attacks happened before?

Pathankot Attacks

1.The Lahore Bus Yatra – Kargil War
This can be called as one of the steps taken by both the countries which helped in improving the relationship between the two. Lahore bus is a passenger bus service which connects the Indian capital of Delhi with Lahore, Pakistan via the border transit post at Wagah. The service was started in March 1999 but was soon halted in 2001 after the Kargil War and the 2001 Indian Parliament attacks. The Indian Authorities tried to improve the relations by starting this bus service but later in the same year India were ignited by the Kargil War similar to Pathankot Attacks.

Agra summit was a two-day meeting between India and Pakistan which was done with the aim of solving the issues between the 2 countries. The summit, however, failed and India was met with 2001 Parliament Attacks. This was very much similar to the recent terrorist attack at Pathankot.

3.Peacetalks in 2007/08 – 26/11 Mumbai Attacks
The Musharraf-Manmohan talks ran for quite some time but in the end Musharraf concluded stating that he was not going to get what he wanted and what India saw was one of the biggest terrorist disasters ever, the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks.

10 illiterate persons created the biggest hue and cry in one of the most prime cities in India and again we saw a similar situation after few years in 2015, India trying to improve the relation and Pakistan retaliating with Terrorist Attacks.

4.Prime ministers (India & Pakistan) meeting in 2015 – Gurdaspur Terrorist Attacks
Last year the prime ministers had met in UFA and everybody knows what happened next! The Gurdaspur Terrorist Attacks, where we saw three gunmen dressed in army uniforms opening fire on a bus and then attacking a police station in Punjab. 7 people lost their lives and over 15 were injured. The same scenario prevails, India trying to improve the relationship while Pakistan retaliating with terrorism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visit Lahore to see his counterpart on his birthday and not even a week had passed and they conducted an another terrorist attack.

Yes, co-incidences do happen! But so many events can definitely not be a co-incident. We just hope that such attacks never take place in the future and may the souls of the brave army men who lost their lives in Pathankot Attacks may rest in Peace.

  1. I’m the co-founder of JustCBD label (justcbdstore.com) and am looking to grow my wholesale side of business. It would be great if anybody at targetdomain give me some advice 🙂 I thought that the best way to do this would be to talk to vape stores and cbd retailers. I was hoping if anybody at all could suggest a qualified site where I can buy Vape Shop Contact Details I am already reviewing creativebeartech.com, theeliquidboutique.co.uk and wowitloveithaveit.com. Unsure which one would be the most suitable choice and would appreciate any advice on this. Or would it be simpler for me to scrape my own leads? Suggestions?
