Everything is Okay at the End, If It is Not Okay, It is Not the End!

  • The last year or so has been anything but challenging will tantamount to an understatement as none can lay claim to being unaffected by the destructive penetration of the pandemic. Each one of us is continuing to reel under the impact of the inconveniences caused by the novel coronavirus is an undeniable truth that can neither be contested nor questioned. The most visibly destructive devastation surrounding us will leave anybody disturbed and shaken to the core. As the case fatality rate surges to unprecedented levels, the family’s losing their near and dear ones, sole breadwinners, and individuals at the prime of their careers, the bleakness staring in the eyes will be anything but comforting.

  • Apart from losing a family member, elderly or mid-aged, or for that matter young, the life-long pain of not being able to stop the carnage from playing out with such devastating effects stands the testimony to the permanent scar on the psyche. Trust me, those family’s loss in one or the other form cannot be quantified in mere words but attempting to relate earnestly might throw some glimpses of trials and tribulations being experienced now as well as in the future. Heart-wrenching tales of misery on top of the loss of avenues to survive in a dignified manner, and bleak future staring would unnerve most of humanity. Unnervingly, the physiological and psychological scarring emanating from the extremely unpleasant happenstances will be everlasting.
  • Under these trying circumstances, how anybody could even make effort to remain unaffected mentally, or for that matter building an imperceptible shield to protect from the negativity seeping into our overall well-being? It is a battle that has to be played out between the ears gathering every ounce of inner energy, resourceful forbearance, composed demeanor, and positive thought processes aimed at overcoming any pessimism that might overwhelm us beyond redemption. This calls for tough mental fortitude that honestly bears definite bearing on how we portend to undertake resolve to stay ahead in the race against conquering inner demons. Not for nothing time is the best healer is universally known and observed as well.

  • The best way to tackle the unpleasant situation is to take on the matter head-on rather than procrastinate forever to acknowledge that dire challenges do exist. Once acceptance is ensured, the path to move ahead is automatically cleared leaving us with a variety of choices to embrace whichever suits us best. Note that half the battle is won when we take that initial step. Subsequent steps will be smoother as the mind’s cobwebs of uncertainty get cleared for good. Firmly clinging on to the belief that everything will be okay at the end would considerably help us drive ahead. What is that you or I will be losing out if it is not okay at the end? Of course, it is not the end in itself right! We are resilient enough to make yet another attempt to move! That is the real beauty of life! Stay positive, move positively!
