The third season of Broad City premiered this week on Comedy Central. And, the show indeed begins with one of the best sequence it has ever tackled to date in all its three seasons! ‘Let’s get married!’ is what Ilana tells Abbi! WTF!

In an early scene of this new season of Broad City, Ilana is seen to be carried away by her love for her best friend. And, what’s more shocking and surprising is the fact that she finds herself making a suggestion, which is totally awkward and insane too! Finally, she tells Abbi, ‘Let’s get married!’ With this, the new season definitely seems to be more hilarious and entertaining than its previous two seasons.

Broad City is an American sitcom that first premiered on Comedy Central on 22nd January, 2014. The series follows two friends, Ilana and Abbi, both in their twenties living in New York City. The show is created by both the lead stars only. And, it was developed from their web series, which was produced from 2009 to 2011.
Synopsis of the show!
Broad City follows two Jewish women in their twenties, Ilana and Abbi, who experience misadventures of frivolity and carelessness in New York City. Ilana while pursuing her relentless hedonism seeks to avoid working as much as possible. And, Abbi tries to make a career as an illustrator, while often getting sidetracked into Ilana’s schemes!

Both the earlier seasons of the show aired 10 episodes each. The first episode of the season one was first aired on 22nd January, 2014; while the second season premiered on 14th January, 2015. Now, the first episode of the third season has been premiered on 17th February, 2016 and is expected to entertain its fans till 20th April, 2016!
Reception!
The first season of the show received generally favorable reviews from Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes. Even the A.V. Club named it the second best TV show of 2014 for its first season. The second season also received positive reviews. It was also nominated in various categories in Critics’ Choice Television Awards.
