“According to a report on Wednesday, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and wife Adhuna who is a hair stylist have split after 15 years of marriage. The couple stated, “This is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner.”
Farhan Akhtar and wife met during the making of ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and it was Adhuna Akhtar’s debut in Bollywood as a hair stylist. Though Farhan is six years younger to Adhuna it was never a barrier between two. They tied knot in 2000 and have two daughters, Shakya and Akira. Adhuna was always seen next to Farhan Akhtar in all party events and functions. But the split rumors got stronger when she was not seen during the promotion of his latest movie ‘Wazir’.
Bollywood Splits Story Continues
Recently, the split story in Bollywood seems to be a never-ending affair. Farhan Akhtar and wife is not the only one to split after a year of togetherness. In December 2014, Hrithik Roshan made an official statement that astounds his fans all over the world. He said “Sussanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17-year relationship. This is a very trying time for the entire family.” And within minutes the statement was pervasive with notion.
Another shocking news was Ranbir and Deepika breakup. And just after they parted, Ranbir and Katrina started dating. They have been staying together for quite some time in an apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. It may sound very sad to their fans, but the latest news says that Ranbir-Katrina are also headed for a break-up.
