If you go and search in the Internet about which are the greatest sitcoms ever made. One name will surely popup and that Sitcom happens to be How I Met Your Mother. But trust me after watching 9 seasons of this so called great Sitcom I regret why I watched it. In this article I will tell you 6 reasons why you should not watch How I Met Your Mother.
1.Early Shiner But Fails Miserably In Between
This is one of the many reasons why you should not watch How I Met Your Mother. Initially let’s say the first 5 seasons Is seriously enjoyable but since the beginning of the Six Seasons it starts to fall apart. Ultimately it fails miserably in the end, it was started as a Sitcom and ended up as a romantic drama. This is one of the major reasons why you should not watch How I Met Your Mother.
2.Forgets Its Genre
Like I mentioned in the above point that how I met your mother forgets its genre. The first five seasons have extreme comedy thanks to Neil Patrick Harrison. Thanks to the character played by him called Barney, which in the end fails miserably due to major changes made to its character. It takes away the little comic relief which the audience used to have.
3.Lack of Direction
To be honest the first three Seasons really go well but season 4 and season 5 loose direction. There are hardly any character developments which is one of the many reasons why you should not watch How I Met Your Mother. The same similar plot keeps on repeating in the Further seasons which makes it unbearable in the end.
4.A sitcom really?
How I met your mother was supposed to be a Sitcom but later turned out to be Just Another Love Story. The only good thing about the show in the end was or let’s say the only funny thing about the show in the end was Barney which was played by Neil Patrick Harrison. And later what they did with his character will make you even more angry and Furious.
5.The Season Finale / Ending
Well I won’t tell what happens in the end because there would still many people who would still like to watch this TV series. So let’s just say that whatever they started building sins season 6 was destroyed in just 40 minutes. A supposedly good story ended in such a way that it make everyone outrageous. That is one of the reasons why it was criticized by its viewers and critics. This is the major reason why you should not watch how I Met Your Mother
Well these are my reasons so as to why I will recommend you not to watch this series. But if you plan on doing that just remember no matter how much the characters make you laugh in the starting of the TV series it will definitely make you disappointed in the end. These were the reasons why you should not watch How I Met Your Mother.
