The senior off-spinner of Team India, Harbhajan Singh has been in a relationship with the Bollywood actress Geeta Basra since last 9 years. Finally, they decided to tie the knot. After a long courtship, the couple tied the knot on October 29, 2015 at Phagwara, near Bhajji’s hometown Jalandhar in Punjab. A grand reception party was held on November 1 in Delhi.
1. The beginning: Harbhajan Singh, also known as “Bhajji” and Geeta’s love story began in 2007 when she was introduced to him through a common associate at an event. That meeting was very casual. Harbhajan and his fellow teammate Irfan Pathan, who was also a guest on the show, were in one vanity van. She could always meet Bhajji in front of Irfan Pathan. 7. The Sehra Bandi ritual: In this picture the off-spinner gave a sneak peek into a pre-wedding ritual, Sehra Bandi. Bhajji looked dapper in an off-white self-on-self embroidered Sherwani and a red turban.
8. The proposal, filmy style: Geeta Basra is more romantic than Bhajji, who is a simple guy. Harbhajan was sweet in his own way. Bhajji was on his legs on the day of wedding to show Geeta how much he loves her. This is like Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s Style.
9. The perfect couple: Bhajji had worn an off-white self-on-self embroidered Sherwani with an ornate red sword on his wedding day.Bhajji did a cameo in ‘Second Hand Husband’ starring Geeta. The film, which released in July this year. When she finds the man, the camera pans towards Harbhajan Singh.
