Located at Thiruvanathapuram, capital city of Kerala, Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple is the richest temple in India. This temple has Lord Vishnu as the prime deity and is one of the most important cultural monuments in Kerala.

This temple gathered all the fame after the instruction of the Supreme Court to inspect the vaults in the temple, in 2011. This inspection revealed a huge and precious collection of contents which are worth US$22.3 billion. This huge treasure is believed to be the contribution from the Tranvancore dynasty and also from other foreign individuals and kings.
