2. Cheese
During excavation at the Xiaohe Cemetery in China; pieces of cheese have been found on the necks and chests of the 3,800 years old mummies. This found cheese is totally different from the modern cheese!
3. Chewing Gum
In Finland, a piece of chewing gum was found in the year 2007. The piece is said to be 5,000 years old and also bears tooth prints on it. It was made from a semi-solid element of Birch trees, birch bark tar.
4. Oldest Mask
Belonging to a pre-ceramic neolithic period; a stone mask of the 7,000 BC was found and now kept in Paris. However, no further sample of the masks is found till date.
5. Musical Instrument
A 43,000 year’s old flute was found in the Hohle Fels Cave of Germany. The flute is said to be made out of mammoth ivory and bird bone.
6. Toddler
A 3.2 million years old toddler’s fossil child was found in Ethiopia in 2006. It belongs to the family of Australopithecus afarensis.
7. Murder
A 430,000 years old skull of a young adult was traced and it is believed that it was first murder case or fatal assault. A right handed attacker gave two consecutive blows on the victim’s head.
In this modern age, we should not lose the links of our past and all the old things which have created the mankind in the way it is existing now!
