- The Indian citizens should know by now that the present dispensation headed by the indefatigable Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not allow the Pakistani terror factory to wreak havoc on our soil and go scot-free as it used to happen previously. In the last decade or so, every Pakistani misadventure has been met with an equitable response from the Indian armed forces. Every heinous, dastardly, and cowardly attack in the form of the Uri, the Pulwama, and now the Pahalgam terrorist misadventures have been met with a cohesive, calibrated, and targeted Indian military response, not only annihilating the terrorists’ hideouts/locations but also showcasing our abilities to accurately execute offensive counterattack with precision.

- One of the biggest takeaways from the Indian military response has been the way the Prime Minister-led think tank went about the whole plan of responding to the gauntlet thrown at us by the Pakistani deep state. The Pakistani army-terrorist nexus has been well documented over the years. However, the Union Government completely handing over free rein to the armed forces to carry out a suitable response must be applauded. Mind you, the Indian military leadership is not only thoroughly professional but also well-versed in the act of planning, preparing, and executing a military response targeting the intended locations. It’s a matter of great pride to watch how the Indian armed forces annihilated the enemy terrorist targets with great aplomb and finesse.

- As one recollects how things have panned out in the last fortnight plus days, it’s abundantly clear that Indian planning in responding to the Pahalgam terrorist attack has been almost flawless. The optics of fielding a Kashmiri Hindu, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh were spot on. The message being conveyed was not lost on how India as a country stands united irrespective of attempts at dividing the nation on religion/faith. The people of Jammu and Kashmir, condemning the Pahalgam attack in no uncertain terms, must have shocked the terrorism backers in Pakistan to no end. The unequivocal support extended by the J&K administration and people alike the post-Pahalgam attack, is a huge gain for the Union Government’s efforts of normalcy.

- The Indian air defence systems proved beyond doubt our supremacy vis-à-vis military inventory in comparison to across the border, thwarting hundreds of drones/projectiles with absolute accuracy. That our armed forces could breach the Pakistani air defence with impunity to inflict greater harm on their air bases must have shaken the rogue army elements out of their complacency. That the Indian military will strike deep inside Pakistani territory at will makes the deep state not only wary but also realise the folly of perpetrating heinous acts of terrorism. They know misadventures would be returned with fury now. The New India no longer hesitates to unleash firepower at its choosing will become the new norm henceforth. Jai Hind!
