Appropriately named as the Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar has been an integral part of the Indian consciousness right from the time of Independence till her passing away. Yes, it is unimaginable to even mention that the icon of icons has left for her heavenly journey leaving behind a legacy that can never be emulated.
