  • The ongoing cricket world cup in India is proving to be quite an entertaining one expected from any multilateral tournament involving some of the best teams in the competition. Going by the first ten days of the event, a few of the teams appear to have hit the strap and some are finding it difficult to press ahead. As you are aware, New Zealand is one team that may not boast of internationally acclaimed superstars but has enough utility cricketers in its rank who deliver consistently when it matters most. Not for nothing, Kiwis have made it to two back-to-back finals in the 50-over world cups. It’s another matter altogether that on both occasions they failed to cross the finishing line. But nothing can be held against the team though.
