Rohit is blessed with a lazy elegance and the combination of power hitting with natural flair only makes it that much more challenging for the opposition to stop him when in full flow.

No wonder, he has become the owner of the highest number of sixers scored in international cricket. Shubhman Gill has shown enough indications of the natural talent he is blessed with. And a big score is around the corner from the gifted batter. Now, what encomiums will do justice to an extraordinary cricketer like Virat Kohli who simply keeps entertaining cricket lovers with his exceptional display unendingly? The king of chase is in sublime form right through the tournament delivering one applaudable knock after another with such ease and finesse. Virat’s hunger for runs is simply unbelievable but Team India will not complain.

- KL Rahul too has shown glimpses of his skillful batting apart from donning the wicketkeeper’s gloves. He has been no less than sensational behind the wickets by showcasing amazing catching skills to affect dismissals at crucial times. Shreyas Iyer hasn’t yet hit the straps as expected from him. But has shown enough glimpses of his unquestionable talent that might unravel soon. Ravindra Jadeja came to the party with the bat against New Zealand in Dharamsala apart from being handy with the ball as usual. Jasprit Bumrah is top-class with the ball at the beginning, in the middle, and in the end. Mohammad Siraj and Mohammed Shami have been exceptional too. No wonder, Team India won five consecutive matches and has emerged as the team to beat.
