- One of the most keenly anticipated dates for most of us is the last day of the calendar year, and the excitement, enthusiasm, as well as a great sense of expectation about the ensuing New Year’s Day. Thus, January 1st is welcomed with renewed vigour, intent, purpose, commitment, and, of course, resolutions. Now, we know that the resolutions are often formed during the last few days of the previous year, with an avowed promise to kickstart certain long-held virtues, but invariably failing to put them into action. Who does not know about the benefits of regular exercise that could be in the form of cycling, farming, swimming, running, brisk walking, and even indulging in some physical activity that helps to make our heart beat faster than normal? We all know this.

Not an impossible task at all. The month of December offers an opportunity to concretize such plans, you see.
