We all know there are many interesting and mysterious facts about space. In this article I would discuss about the Apollo 10 astronauts (who had orbited the moon two months before Neil Armstrong’s famous landing) who heard un-explainable and mysterious music, sneaking from the range of Earth radio transmissions.
Apollo 10 – Weird Music – Facts
1.These classified tapes were revealed by NASA, the recordings show the journey which was taken by Apollo 10 capsule around the far side of the moon. The tape also shows the astronauts reacting with confusion and surprise to a howling noise in their headsets.
2.The sound became audible when the capsule was on an hour long trip around the far side of the moon. Apollo 10 was out of the range of any Earth broadcast, that means it had no communication with Earth whatsoever.
3.At a point of time the astonished astronauts can be heard discussing whether they should report this to NASA command or not.

4.One of the astronauts asked, you hear that? That whistling sound?” Whoooo!” one of them said. Another one said that he is also hearing the same and it is sounding like some outer space type music. One of them said that it is surely a weird music.
5.The sound or the weird music had lasted for almost an hour until the time the capsule was on the far side of the moon.
6.This recording was classified by NASA until 2008. Now it has come back to discussion in the upcoming third season of Science channel’s series, NASA unexplained files.
7.Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden says that the Apollo 10 crew was very familiar to the kind of noise they should be hearing. Logic tells him that if there was something recorded on there, then there was something there.
8.The show also discusses some of the possible solutions, which includes a atmosphere interfering with the radio or a magnetic field.
9.But according to experts, the moon has no magnetic field and not enough atmosphere to give rise to such problems.
10.Well, the origins of the noises may, it seems remains a mystery!
