We all felt that the opportunities on offer were not converted in the desired manner by Sanju.

Chasing a challenging target set by the West Indies, the must-win game for India offered an opportunity for Sanju to showcase his unquestionable talent on the big stage. And how did he respond? A Zen-like ice-cool demeanor, interspersed with breathtaking stroke play, never allowing the run rate to cross unreachable levels, and not allowing the wickets falling from the other end to affect his batting tempo. Thorough bred cricket experts would always vouch how supremely gifted batters have that extra time to tackle whatever the opposition bowlers hurl at you. Hearteningly, Sanju is abundantly blessed with the unique trait. He showed it against the West Indies in a must-win game for Team India.
