al qaeda, indian railways, irctcOn Tuesday, Al Qaeda the Terror outfit allegedly hacked a microsite of the Railnet page of the Indian Railways. This hack was made to show its sinister reach for the first time. But later it left the government page.

Hacked! Railnet page of the Indian Railways

• The hacked page belonged to the Bhusawal division of Personnel Department of the Central Railway.

• It is a part of a large intranet which was created for the department’s administrative needs.

Maulana Aasim Umar’s message to the Indian Muslims

Post hacking the railnet page, they left it with a message for the Indian Muslims from Maulana Aasim Umar, who is Al Qaeda chief in south Asia. The message was to encourage Indian Muslims to participate in ‘jihad’ and help in defeating the United States and its allies.

Hacked page replaced with message to encourage participation in ‘jihad’ – Attached 11-page document read:

“Why is there no storm in your ocean? A message for Muslims of India from Maulana Aasim Umar (May Allah protect him),” read the message.

“Will the land of Delhi not give birth to a Shah Muhadith Delhvi who may once again teach the Muslims of India the forgotten lesson of Jihad and inspire them to take to the battlefields of Jihad?”

“Is there no successor left of the group that drenched itself in blood at Balakot, who possesses the spirit of rising in rebellion against a system based on disbelief and offering one’s life for Allah?” the message said.

• Maulana Aasim Umar also known as Sanaul Haq was a resident of Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh.

• Umar educated at the famous Dar-ul-Uloom seminary at Deoband, he graduated in the year 1991.

• According to investigators he disappeared from Sambhal in the year 1995.post which he had no contacts with his family.

• He was allegedly appointed as the chief of the Al Qaeda in the Indian sub-continent (AQIS) last year.

• Joined the jihadist circle post the Babri Masjid demolition took place in December 1992.
