2. Ragini MMS (2011)
Ragini MMS was directed in 2011 and is a Bollywood found footage horror film. This film is inspired by Paranormal Activity, a 2007 American supernatural horror film. The scariest part of this film is that the film is based on an actual story of a girl from Delhi named Deepika.
3. 1920 (2008)
1920 is a period film about a married house couple who move to a haunted house. This Vikram Bhatt film is unexpectedly scary. Filled with evil spirits and fierce moments; this film will definitely scare you more than you assume.
4. Vaastu Shastra (2004)
Vaastu Shastra is a horror film directed by Ram Gopal Varma. In the film, a family shifts into a haunted house and the trouble comes when the kid begins making imaginary friends and then soon begins getting obsessed with his ‘imaginary friends’.
5. Bhoot (2003)
Ram Gopal Varma has directed Bhoot in such a horrifying way that till date it is considered as one of the scariest movies of Bollywood. It is full of crazy moments which will definitely leave you so scared that you will even avoid being alone in a room for weeks!
6. Darna Mana Hai (2003)
Darna Mana Hai is a Bollywood Anthology movie directed by Ram Gopal Varma; in which instead of dragging one horror story for hours; the director provided the audience with a horror movie consisting of six different short horror stories! It was indeed considered as a unique and innovative attempt.
7. Raaz (2002)
Raaz was inspired by ‘What Lies Beneath’ and it gives us enough occasions to scream louder and louder in the whole movie! In the movie, a couple moves to Ooty to save their failing marriage. 8. Kaun (1999)

9. Raat (1992)
In this movie, a family of four people moves into a haunted house. When a cat gets killed in the house; sequence of horror events soon follows. This flick will definitely make you scream louder and if you love cats; then you will be terrified of them also.
10. Jadu Tona (1977)
Directed by Ravikant Nagaich, Jadu Tona stars Feroz Khan as a psychotherapist. The movie is about a young girl who is possessed by the spirit of an old man who is looking to take revenge on some of his former friends.
