This time a NASA image of Mars has caused huge excitement among the UFO fans and the conspiracy theorists. This set of people seems to be convinced that the image shows an alien gun, which is lying on the surface of the Red Planet, Mars!
An alien gun spotted on Mars!
Many conspiracy theorists and UFO enthusiasts are convinced by the image that it shows an actual alien gun (or its lookalike). And, if this theory about the image is correct; then it appears to prove the existence of alien life, and maybe they are coming for mankind!
Where did the image come from?
The series of NASA images were uploaded on YouTube on 14th February, 2016, by Streetcap1. They were taken at a place at SOL 3773, between Mt. Edgecumbe and Wdowiak Ridge on planet Mars in September 2014. These images were taken by the NASA’s Opportunity Rover, which is also known as MER-B (Mars Exploration Rover-B) or MER-1. And, later these images have been examined over and over again by space enthusiasts, claiming the existence of an alien gun!

Opportunity Rover was launched on 7th January, 2003. It landed on Mars in the Meridiani Planum on 25th January, 2004, exactly three weeks after Spirit (MER-A).
What exactly the footage is revealing?
In the footage, an object in the shape of a handgun, referred as an alien gun by some folks, appears to be lying on the surface of Mars. Behind the gun, the footage also showed the remains of a damaged spacecraft on the planet!

Scott C. Waring, UFO blogger was unable to hide his excitement regarding this latest incredible ‘discovery’ on Mars. He wrote, ‘I have to admit. It’s incredible. This is definitely one of the all time top ten discoveries of Streetcap1’.
He speculates, ‘I guess this why NASA built the rovers, to find alien technology and scan it and possibly retrieve it a later date!’
I wonder where the oanpucct of the craft is too, Mrs Charlesworth, and I wonder why the craft landed on our field? Perhaps the fireworks confused them? Or maybe Sergeant Greer was right, and the American Hurricane blew it off course?
