Tata Motors has unveiled three new cars at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. This includes the Kite 5 aka Tata Sway (Zica sedan), the Nexon and the production version of the Hexa, a new premium MUV.

Tata Motors is said to have the biggest exhibition area at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. And, the company has plans to showcase more than 20 products in both the passenger and commercial vehicle segments. Let’s have a look at the three cars that are unveiled by Tata Motors:
Tata Sway!
Tata Kite 5 aka Tata Sway sedan is based on the hatchback Zica, whose name will be changed afterwards. For better strength and rigidity, it is based on the modified Indigo eCS XO platform.
It measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,647 mm in width and 1,535 mm in height. And, it has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm. The car will be available in two new engines- 1.05-litre three cylinder diesel engine and 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revetron engine. The diesel engine will give a mileage of around 24-25 kmpl; while the petrol engine will offer 19-21 kmpl.
Its main features include 8 speaker touchscreen infotainment systems, ABS, dual airbags, reverse parking camera and turn indicators on ORVM. It will be launched around second half of 2016.
Tata Hexa!
Another car which is showcased by Tata Motors is its Aria-looking Hexa. Only one glimpse of it immediately reminds of the Tata Aria! It shares its AC vents and steering wheel with Bolt and Zest.
The car measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, 1,780 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Under the hood, it has 2.2-litre, four-cylinder VARICOR 400 diesel engine. It offers 154.2bhp along with 400Nm of maximum torque.
The new projector head-lamps, newly designed fog-lamps, a new honeycomb mesh front grille and a redesigned airdam gives this car a distinctive look. Some of the other features include ESP, six airbags ambient lighting, an auto head-lamp and wiper.
Tata Nexon!
Tata Nexon is a compact SUV, which has been developed on the X1 platform by Tata Motors. It has been positioned in between the Zest and Safari Storm.
The Tata Nexon shares its interior and exterior design elements, and also the features with the hatchback, Zica. The vehicle comes with a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine, along with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.
Talking about the transmission options, it comes in the form of a 5-speed manual and F-Tronic AMT on the diesel. Although Tata Motors didn’t announced the launch of this SUV in India; but it is expected to be launched by the end of 2016.
