  • People closely following the emerging geopolitical and geostrategic scenarios would have noticed how the world has undergone palpable changes ever since Donald Trump assumed the office of the President of the United States of America. Some of his disruptive measures, such as imposing tariffs on imported goods from around the world, have not only caused debilitating effects on economies but also led to the realignment of strategic alliances and partnerships involving several important countries. By now, it’s become increasingly apparent that Donald Trump is petulant, maverick, impetuous, and irrational while making/issuing statements. Some of the spur-of-the-moment pronouncements/proclamations simply undermine his own liabilities as a leader.

  • As you would have noticed, a few of the grandiose claims made by Trump even before assuming the office, like stopping the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine as well as between Israel and Hamas, have just remained mere words spoken with an air of false superiority. It’s been almost nine months since Trump assumed office, but none of his bombastic claims have resulted in fruition, save for causing even more disruptions. One of the most irritating and despicable characteristics of Trump is to claim false credit for an action he was nary involved in or directly influencing the eventual outcome. The global community is familiar by now with his tall claims of playing a ring master with every country obsequiously following diktats. Far from reality.

  • The self-proclaimed messiah of the world, who cherishes sycophancy and indulges in aggrandizement of the innumerable cringeworthy claims, has repeatedly failed to rein in Russian President Vladimir Putin or, for that matter, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to call off the ongoing conflicts dragging on and on. One of the most obvious traits observed in Trump is his penchant for garnering undue credit for the acts of omission/commission involving countries at loggerheads without caring for the ensuing public outcry decrying the falsity of the whole episodes unfolding. By now, the global community is clear about Trump’s eccentricities, egotistic disposition, and impulsive behaviour while initiating mostly ill-advised and illogical measures.

What to Expect from the Xi-Trump Summit? - CHINA US Focus

  • Of course, there is a growing belief that Trump is a TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) when encountered by an equally strong response from the opposing leader. The whole world saw how China’s Xi Jinping stood up to Trump when America first imposed tariffs on the former. The moment the Chinese leader imposed a reciprocal tariff on America, Trump went back on his earlier threats. Several flip-flops witnessed on the matter further corroborate the TACO claim. Bullying tactics don’t work, you see. The height of idiocy and incredulity is the brazenly open aspirations/craving of the leader for the Nobel Peace Prize. Any leader seconding such an unprecedented but unconcealed aspiration would be in the good books of Trump. Incredible!
