Some of us like to believe in phrases like ‘Everything happens for a reason’ or ‘Whatever happens, happens for the good’. For believing these things, there’s no specific reason as they are meant to be the way they are! Or else, people like to believe in those as they provide them a support system, a false belief with which everything will actually turn out fine. Here is a list of 7 not so true real life phrases:

1. Bad things don’t happen to good people!
While our people keep on believing in the concept of ‘Karma’; but there are times when good things happen to even those people who are involved in crimes! On the contrary, there are good people who suffer a lot in the most insensitive ways possible.
2. I have got time!
Life is so unpredictable that we don’t even know what might actually happen in the next five seconds, leave alone the next five years. It’s a false self-assurance which we give to ourselves. Check the reality that nobody has control over time, and whatever you’ve, you have it NOW!
3. If you believe in yourself, then anything and/or everything is possible!
Our abilities are unique and limited. And, having self-belief and ambition is quite good; but everyone should be a realist too. Moreover, phrases like this pander often to those who have hopeless dreams.
4. Time changes everything!
No, time does not change anything, rather you change it! You have to put the efforts in order to change the present scenario and then, as the time passes, the situation changes ultimately.
5. Everything happens for a reason!
While most of us would like to believe this, but its not so true. As this is just a way to console yourself that if so and so mishap happens, then everything will eventually turn out to be fine!
6. Everything will work out in the end!
It’s again a false self-assurance which people keep on giving to themselves. And the same reasoning follows here, ‘If you don’t work and put the efforts in the right direction; then how can you even expect time to heal everything for you?’
7. Ignorance is bliss!
No, it’s not! It’s just a choice and it’s actually an illness. In today’s world, you can’t just conclude that ignorance is bliss.
I am sorry that I have made you look into this reality, a harsh one for some people; now please don’t hate me! (And even if you hate me, I am sure; time will heal everything, LOL)
