Microsoft just launched the new Lumia 950 Smartphone on Windows 10 this week; and now it wants to entice people to make the switch. And that’s likely the reason why the company has also launched its latest Android exclusive app, AppComparison.
AppComparison seems to be the new Microsoft bomb. As we all know that Microsoft’s Windows Smartphone don’t have so many apps like Android or iOS. And this is most probably the best reason why people prefer iOS or Android Smartphone, because they have many diverse games, apps and other networked users. But, how you will gonna react if Windows Smartphone could have correspondents for all the favorite applications? Would you then like to buy a new Windows Smartphone, under this particular circumstance? At first glance, it seems to be really an interesting idea.
Microsoft does not consider the lack of Windows apps that serious; as they believe it more as a wrong perception of iOS and Android users. And with this launch of AppComparison, Microsoft wants to make the already-installed apps of Android with their Windows Phone variants. The application will also introduce to you, some of the most popular Windows Phone apps.
Ideally, AppComparison may go to offer the best equivalent app for the most of the Android software apps. But, a few apps are still there, which are created by Google like Google Drive or Google Chrome; which seems to be quite tough to be replaced by other genuine equivalent software. So, the user might just need to satisfy himself with One Drive or UC Browser, instead of them.
This move from Microsoft might prove to be risky or it might be worth it. It is pretty much like a person who is looking over a glass half filled with water. Some people will see it to be filled, while others will feel the opposite. So, the future Windows Phones sales numbers and revenues will prove whether this move is right or not.
