Music acts as a remedy to heal all wounds, but what if it creates one? Popular singer Sonu Nigam did an on-air concert which landed the cabin crew into trouble. He used the flight announcement system to sing, post it was allowed by the air hostesses on the Jet Airways flight. This has now resulted in the suspension of all five Cabin Crew members on the flight, and they have been taken off from flight duty for inquiry.

The passengers sharing a flight with a celebrity singer, and then further having him croon a hit Bollywood numbers on the in-flight announcement system gave them great entertainment. But we cannot expect the same from the Indian aviation regulatory.
Sonu Nigam wouldn’t have ever thought even for a second that his singing could do any harm to anyone. He was as usual entertaining his fans.

This came post the passengers requested Sonu, while he was on the same flight with them travelling to Mumbai from Jodhpur to Mumbai. Sonu Nigam obliged their request and then took place the in-flight concert on Thursday, January 4.

To perform Nigam had used the flight announcement system, he did so post the he was allowed by the air hostesses of the Jet Airways flight.
This was a treat for all the passengers and crew members, but it didn’t go down very well with the regulatory bodies for aviation. This has now resulted in the suspension of the five cabin crew members on the flight, they will be off the duty for inquiry.
According to Jet Airways the crew of the flight in question has been suspended. Necessary action will be taken post the pending inquiry is made. Jet Airways said in a statement that All cabin crew on the flight have been taken off the flight duty for inquiry and corrective training, in order to reinforce strict adherence to the operating procedures.
