Indian Cricketers With Bollywood Connection

Cricket and Bollywood go hand in hand. This has not happened once, but it is becoming very common as time is going by. Almost every other cricketer is seen dating a Bollywood star or at least in rumors of being in a relationship with some diva of Bollywood. Here are a few cricketers who were seen dating, and some marrying the Bollywood divas: –

1) Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi – Sharmila Tagore

Pataudi had met the Bengali beauty at a friend’s party and it can be said that it was love at first sight. It was allegedly reported that he had gifted a refrigerator to the diva and they finally tied the knock four years later.

2)Mohammed Azharuddin – Sangeeta Bijlani

Sangeeta Bijlani was Miss India 1980. The news of Azar – Sangeeta love affair had created a fury in Hyderabad, which is Azharuddin’s home city. He later divorced his first wife and married the Bollywood beauty.

3)Ravi Shastri – Amrita Singh

At a point of time, Ravi Shastri was among the few that the ladies were crazy about. He was in a very serious relationship with Amrita Singh before he married Ritu. Amrita also moved on and later married Saif Ali Khan.

4) Sourav Ganguly – Nagma

The former Indian captain was also known to get involved in a relationship with South Indian fame Nagma. They were captured together in a temple in 2001 which got both of them a lot of attention in the media. Later Nagma told that they had to sacrifice their relationship as Ganguly chose Nation over love.

5)Harbhajan Singh – Geeta Basra

Harbhajan Singh recently got married with Bollywood actress Geeta Basra. Before they got married, they were often seen together and retweeting each other’s tweets on social media. Basra was also seen attending many IPL matches.

6)Yuvraj Singh – Kim Sharma

Yuvraj Singh dated Kim Sharma for many years, and finally they split in 2010 for reasons unknown. In a television show, Yuvraj confessed that at that time, he was at the peak of his career and she was the love of his life. However, it is also said that she now married.

7) Zaheer Khan – Isha Sharvani

Zaheer Khan used to date Isha Sharvani, a Bollywood actress and their relationship were considered to be so serious that rumors about their wedding had started to pop up. Later, the two denied such rumors and later broke up. Zaheer was later seen hanging out with a VJ cum model Ramona.

8)Stuart Binny – Mayanti Langer

Stuart Binny has recently been called up to the Indian squad after nearly a decade of domestic cricket. He met Mayanti Langer during the ICL – Indian Cricket League, which was a big failure in terms of a league. He is the son of Roger Binny, who was in the World Cup winning squad.

9)MS Dhoni – Deepika Padukone

We all know that MS Dhoni is married to Sakshi while Deepika is currently dating Ranveer Singh. However, in 2007, the duo was seen dating together when Deepika was about to debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om.

10)Virat Kohli – Anushka Sharma

Virat Kohli, the future captain and one of the biggest young talents in the Indian cricket team is currently dating Bollywood star Anushka Sharma. Initially, both of them denied that they were in a relationship; but now the couple seems to be inseparable. Virat was also seen kissing his bat and blowing it towards Anushka Sharma after he had scored a century.
