The moot point to ponder over here is whether Team India has scaled above Pakistan vis-à-vis the quality of play on display owing to a variety of reasons. The much-hyped rivalry between the two teams has become largely a one-sided contest with Team India romping home quite comfortably often. Team India’s domination over Pakistan in ICC-sponsored events is revealing thereby further establishing the fact that we are way above the performance ladder leaving behind the opposition to catch up. From player to player, Team India is simply incomparable to Pakistan.

Why only Pakistan, the entire cricket-playing nations are aware of the superlative performances of these superstars with such consistency bamboozling the opposition ranks? The question arises about the worthiness of hype being generated by the stakeholders in the media to rev up a contest between the two countries where the contest has lost its edge because of the superiority of Team India.
