- The last three weeks have been fast-paced, intriguing, apprehensive, anxiety-filled, and a looming threat of a full-blown war breaking out between India and Pakistan after the heinous and cowardly act of killing 26 innocent civilians holidaying in the picturesque Baisaran, Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Mind you, we Indians have been witnessing the dastardly cross-border terrorism perpetrated by the Pakistani deep state for decades now. Thousands of innocent lives have been lost due to the bloody-mindedness of the Pakistani establishment hell bent on disturbing the peace-loving existence of our country. However, the Pakistani army simply fails to learn from the severe backlash and popular sentiments by perpetually pressing ahead with the mayhem.

The present Union Government, led by the indefatigable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is not like his predecessors, allowing acts of terrorism perpetrated by the masters from across the borders to go unanswered. Of course, the nation witnessed how some of the dastardliest acts of terrorism were responded to in the form of surgical strikes following the attacks in Uri and Pulwama, not so long ago. - It also brought to the fore how much the Indian military has advanced compared to Pakistan. Without crossing the Line of Control and the International Border, Indian fighters inflicted humongous destruction on terrorist infrastructure. The usage of missiles, drones, and other munitions during the Operation Sindoor has been nothing short of fascinating to understand for ordinary citizens. Even more incredible is the way our Air Defence Systems annihilated the enemy’s swarm of drones and other projectiles with great efficiency. Furthermore more adrenaline-pumping, scintillating part was to witness our missiles strike deep inside Pakistani air bases to destroy some of the known facilities. - What was on display during the four days of war-like situation was the superiority showcased by the Indian military through seamless coordination from the air, the sea, and the land. The Indian response to Pakistani misadventure not only pulverized the terrorist backers and infrastructure but also mirrored the reality of the enemy’s army lacking the necessary wherewithal to take on the might of our supremely ready armed forces to deliver what is asked of them. While the Indian military hardware proved beyond doubt our dominance, the asymmetry in the overall comparison must render the Pakistani establishment undergo sleepless nights ahead. In conclusion, it’s an advantage for India holding all the aces up our sleeve and from a position of strength as well.
