After the smash-hit comedy show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, our very own Kapil Sharma is all set to come back. He has planned to rock the TV screen once again with his new comedy show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ which might start in April 2016. This was pretty quick as Kapil Sharma’s earlier show ended on January 24th, 2016. Kapil’s fans were certainly awaiting his new show, and Kapil too promises more fun in his latest ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Here are 10 things you would want to know about Kapil’s new comedy show:

1. Return of Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar: Kapil’s old companions Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar will also be a part of The Kapil Sharma Show. This trio had created lot of fun all episodes of Kapil’s previous show, Comedy Nights with Kapil. Apart from these two, the new show will also see Kiku Sharda, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar. So in other words, the whole team of Comedy Nights with Kapil will be once again seen together.
2. Live audience to be the part of the first episode: As confirmed by the show’s authorities, the first episode of the show will be shot as an event in Delhi with live audience. This would be a ‘real’ entertainment.
3. Common public can also be a part of the show: The Kapil Sharma Show has a new concept and it is to include common public. The show makers have asked common people to send their videos to the channel and the selected ones can become a part of the show.
4. Date, time and place: This time, audience will have to switch to Sony TV, as Kapil decided to tie up with Colors’ rival channel this time for his new show. One of the reports also says that the new show will apparently start by the end of March or first week of April.
5. Who will appear on the first episode: Kapil Sharma seems to be quick in almost everything. Much before his new show is aired, he found his first guests on the show. And it’s none other than the lead pair of “Ki &Ka”; Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. The first promo of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was shot on 18th However, Kapil is nowhere to be seen in the promo as he wants to increase his fans’ curiosity about his avatar in the show.
6. Kapil and team are present; but will the characters be the same? Well, certainly not! Kapil successfully pulled his entire team back into his new show. However, this does not mean that we will be seeing the same characters. Colors channel holds the rights of the characters and even the punch lines used in Comedy Nights and none can be used again. Fans of ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ are certainly going to miss the famous Gutthi, adorable bakri and the popular Kapil tagline, Babaji Ka Thullu.
7. ‘Bua’ also missing: Those who followed Comedy Nights with Kapil regularly know who ‘Bua’ is and her importance in the whole drama. However, the ever-young Bua aka Upasana Singh mentioned that she is happy to stay with Colors channel as she is well paid here. Currently she is working in another comedy show on the channel, Comedy Nights Live. She is performing the same role in this show as well.
8. But we have Sidhu in the new show! Comedy Nights with Kapil fan club is also a great fan of Sidhu. And good news is that, Sidhu will be seen in The Kapil Sharma Show as well. Sidhu’s laughter on ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ was one of the reasons for the show’s popularity. Though earlier it was thought that Sidhu will continue with Comedy Nights Live; he probably changed his mind. He will be on the side of his good friend Kapil it seems.
9. Gutthi part 2? Another curiosity amongst the audience is whether Sunil Grover will be seen in a male or a female avatar. The curiosity reached its peak, when Sunil tweeted; “Promo Launch day for the new show. What should I wear today…Male clothes or female clothes.” Just wait and watch!
10. New partners for the show: Kapil Sharma’s production house ‘K9’ worked with ‘SOL’ for Comedy Nights with Kapil for three years. However, the partners have parted ways and K9 will now work with a new production house, ‘Frames’ for the new show.
The new show is certainly creating quite eagerness amongst audience. Let’s wait for another month and see what Kapil has in store for all of us fans.
