1. Cross Café – Mumbai
Previously known as the Hitler’s’ Cross, it is an Adolf Hitler-themed restaurant located in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The interior of the restaurants is based on the colors of the Nazi Party, which is red, white and black. The first thing that one noticed on entering the restaurant is an enormous portrait of Adolf Hitler.
2. Hijackk Café – Ahmedabad
This is a very unique concept in India and is the first of its kind. It is a Double Decker mobile bus restaurant in the state of Ahmedabad. The idea behind this was an objective to provide customers with a totally unique dining and entertaining experience.
3. Taste of Darkness – Hyderabad
This an absolute unique dining concept, here customers don’t see, but get to experience their food. In this café there is absolute darkness and the customers get to learn much about the lives of the people who are visually impaired. And to add even further to this experience, there is a shaking bridge and a park.
4. Tihar Food Court – Delhi
This food court is the outcome of the efforts of the authorities of the Tihar Jail, who always keep trying to help their inmates. The establishment of the food court is another step in this direction. Here the convicts are employed as waiters or staffs. The food here has been praised by many and customers have complimented the polite service of the staff.
5. New Lucky Restaurant – Ahmedabad
Ever thought of dining amidst the dead. Located in the Lal Darwaza area in Ahmedabad, this restaurant is built over a very old Muslim cemetery. According to Krishnan Kutti the owner of the restaurant, dining amidst the graves is considered good luck. Isn’t that a weird concept, not much people would want to attempt it. So how about joining the dead for a cup of coffee?
6. 70 mm – Hyderabad
Just like the name suggests, this food joint tries to recreate the feel of a large-screen b cinema a hall for all those movie-enthusiasts. This restaurant gives an absolutely new-level of passionate experience. The walls and ceilings of the restaurant are decorated with pictures of the film stars and surely their fans are never disappointed.
7. The Bar Stock Exchange – Mumbai
Love drinking? What if the prices of your drinks rise and fall according to its demand? This pub works on the principles of the stock market. When the market opens people can buy drinks for prices as low as their cost price. So the prices of the drinks keep on changing according to their popularity. 8. NASA – Bangalore
This place is no longer in function as it has been shut down, but it surely deserves a mention on this list. This restaurant was modelled like a spaceship, where the waiters wore spacesuits and looked like astronauts. The entire pub was highlighted with neon-blue lights which gave the customers a feel of the other world. Sadly, it was shut down as it had to make way for a multinational food chain.
9. Goyo – Auroville

10. Veli Lake Floating Restaurant – Trivandrum
Try eating in the middle of the lake in Kerala. This restaurant is established by the villagers of Veli, where an entire village in the middle of the lake and the floating restaurant is actually a part of the village. People who visit here need to cross a floating bridge to reach the restaurant. The best part about the food here is that it is prepared using the local produce.
