Mollywood hunk Dulquer Salmaan celebrates his 30th birthday today.

We know that all the ladies specially would be dying to get a glimpse of him to just wish him on this day. Born to veteran actor Mammootty, DQ as he is called celebrates his 30th birthday today. This charming Malayali star was born on July 28, 1986 in Kochi. Dulquer graduated from Purdue University in United States in Business Management. Many girls’ hearts broke when they heard DQ tied the knot with a gorgeous architect Amal Sufiya on December 22, 2011. Many were shocked to know that it was an arranged marriage.

Before stepping into the film industry, Dulquer Salmaan attended a three month course at the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai. And it was in the year 2012 when we saw DQ shinning on the big screens and there was no looking back. He has garnered praises for his fabulous onscreen presence. He won hearts not just through his dashing persona but he impressed us all with his brilliant acting skills.

It was the first time when the director of ‘Njaan’ Ranjith and Dulquer Salmaan joined hands to do a movie. DQ who played the role of K. T. N Kottoor and Ravi Chandrasekhar received 2014 Ramu Kariat Movie Awards for Best Actor. Again for the same film, Dulquer received the 2014 Thikkurissy Award for Best Actor.

Bangalore Days

The film ‘Bangalore Days’ starring Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles was a super duper hit not just in Kerala but across the country and in some parts of foreign countries too. DQ who played the role of Arjun ‘Aju’ in this romedy film received the 2014 Thikkurissy Award for Best Actor. ‘Charlie’ directed by Martin Prakkat received not one or two but eight awards at the 46th Kerala State Film Awards. Dulquer Salmaan who played the titular role was a carefree vagabond in the film and that particular role was praised by everyone. His avatar and dialogues was immensely praised. DQ won the 2015 Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor and also 2015 North American Film Awards for Best Actor.
